PART 4: Let's Pull It All Together
Okay babe…

We have covered A LOT. 😂
If you've made it through this entire series, I hope you're walking away feeling more educated — not more overwhelmed.
Because that was the whole point.
I didn't write this series to convince you that you need peptides.
I didn't write it to convince you they're bad either.
I wanted to take something that has become incredibly trendy, controversial and honestly CONFUSING online…
…and bring it back to a simple conversation about your health.
So before we close this series, let's pull everything together.
The Biggest Thing I Want You to Remember
Peptides are tools. They are not foundations.
Retatrutide doesn't replace nutrition.
A GLP-1 doesn't replace strength training.
A recovery peptide doesn't replace sleep.
And NOTHING replaces learning how to properly take care of your body.
That's where I think we're getting this conversation wrong online.
We're asking:
"Which peptide should I take?"
Before asking:
"What does my body actually need?"
And those are VERY different questions.
Wait… There Are MORE Peptides?!
Ohhhh yes. 😂 I want to share a small sample of other peptides on the market so you have a full understanding that peptides aren't just reta (aka. weight loss)
Retatrutide and GLP-1 medications are only one little corner of a MUCH bigger peptide conversation.
There are peptides being researched in completely different areas — from tissue repair and skin health to metabolism and mitochondrial function.
So rather than throwing another chemistry lesson at you, here's my:
PEPTIDE CHEAT SHEET
Think of these as areas of research and interest — NOT a shopping list.
GHK-Cu → SKIN + TISSUE REMODELING
You've probably heard this called a copper peptide.
GHK-Cu has been studied particularly around skin and tissue-remodeling processes, including collagen-related pathways, and you'll commonly see copper peptides in topical skincare.
Think:
Skin → collagen → tissue remodeling → healthy-aging research.
BPC-157 → TISSUE + HEALING RESEARCH
BPC-157 gets talked about constantly in fitness circles around injuries, tendons, joints and recovery. Think:
Repair and recovery research.
TB-500 → WOUND + TISSUE-REPAIR RESEARCH
Another one you'll hear in the recovery conversation.
TB-500-related substances have been explored around wound healing and tissue-repair pathways.
MOTS-c → MITOCHONDRIA + METABOLISM
This one fascinates me as someone who loves exercise science.
MOTS-c is actually a mitochondrial-derived peptide that researchers are studying in relation to metabolic signaling, stress responses, glucose metabolism and exercise.
Think:
Mitochondria → energy/metabolism → exercise research.
And fun fact: exercise itself appears to influence naturally occurring mitochondrial-derived peptides.
Which once again brings us back to…
THE FOUNDATION. 😉

There are MANY others being researched too.
And I could easily turn this into another four-part series.
But I won't yet... stay tuned for that 😂
The point isn't for you to memorize peptide names.
The point is simply to understand:
Not all peptides do the same thing.
"Peptides" are an umbrella term.
So saying:
"Peptides are good."
or
"Peptides are bad."
is far too simplistic.
The better questions are:
Which peptide?
For what purpose?
What does the human evidence actually show?
What are the risks?
Is it approved or still investigational?
And does it even make sense for this individual?
PLEASE Don't Let This Become Another Wellness Checklist
This is really important to me.
After reading this series, I don't want you thinking:
"Okay, I need Reta for weight loss, BPC for my knee, GHK-Cu for my skin and MOTS-c for energy…"
😂 NO.
You don't need to collect peptides like Pokémon cards.
More isn't automatically better.
And trendy certainly doesn't mean necessary.
Maybe after properly assessing your health, your answer is:
I don't need any of these.
Fantastic.
Maybe your healthcare provider believes there's an appropriate evidence-based medical treatment for something you're struggling with.
Fantastic.
The goal is simply to stop making health decisions based on a 30-second Reel.
Education first. Individual assessment second. Decision third.
So… What Do You Actually DO With All This Information?
Hopefully after four parts, you're not walking away thinking:
"Okay, which peptide do I need?" 😂
I hope you're walking away asking:
"What does MY body actually need?"
Because that is the question.
Maybe the answer involves a conversation with your healthcare provider about medication.
Maybe you're interested in some of the emerging research around peptides.
Maybe you don't need any of it.
Or maybe you've realized that before adding anything else, you need to get your foundation back in place.
All of those answers are okay.
The goal of this series was never to give you a protocol.
It was to give you enough education to ask better questions and make more informed decisions about your own body.
And If You Need Help With the Foundation…
That's where The Zone Reset Program comes in.

Weight loss or simply wanting to feel stronger, healthier and more like yourself again.
You bring me where you are. We figure out where we're going together.
And if you're sitting here thinking:
"Lisa, I honestly don't even know what I need."
Perfect.
You don't have to.
Let's start with a conversation.
I'm offering a FREE consultation call where we'll talk about where you are right now, what you've been struggling with, what's worked (and hasn't), and what you would genuinely like to change over the next 3–6 months.
No pressure to join.
No generic weight-loss pitch.
Just a conversation about YOU.
Book your FREE consultation call and let's figure out your next step together.
And with that, I'm wrapping up this peptide series.
If there's ONE thing I hope you take from all four parts, it's this:
You don't need to fear every new tool.
You also don't need to jump on every new trend.
Get educated. Ask questions. Know your WHY. Build your foundation. Then decide what's right for you. ❤️
