Biggest Fitness Lie Women Over 35 Have Been Told

Part 1: Real Women, Real Results, Different Approaches & Backgrounds

Can we just talk about the biggest lie women are told once they hit their late 30s and 40s?

"You’re getting older. There’s nothing you can do about it."

Excuse me?

Since when did getting older mean we were supposed to stop feeling good in our bodies?

Since when did we decide that being exhausted all the time was normal?

That aches and pains are just something we have to accept?

That feeling uncomfortable in our clothes is simply part of the process?

Or that buying bigger pants somehow solves the problem?

I don't know about you, but that answer has never sat well with me.

Maybe it's because I'm stubborn.

Maybe it's because I've spent years helping women transform their health.

Or maybe it's because every time someone tells me there's no solution, I become determined to find one.

Because here's what I've learned:

Most women aren't looking to be 20 again.

They're not looking to be fitness models.

They're not trying to spend hours in the gym.

They simply want to feel like themselves again.

They want to put on a pair of jeans and not immediately feel uncomfortable.

They want to have energy after work.

They want to look in the mirror and recognize the woman staring back at them.

And the hardest part?

Most of these women are already trying.

They're going for walks.

They're hitting the gym.

They're taking the fitness classes.

They're doing what used to work.

But somewhere along the way, their body stopped responding the same way it used to.

And that's where the frustration starts.

I hear it all the time.

"Maybe this is just how it is now."

"Maybe my metabolism is broken."

"Maybe I just need to accept it."

But what if you didn't?

What if the problem isn't that you're broken?

What if the problem is that the approach you're using no longer matches what your body needs?

Because here's the truth:

There comes a point where another random workout isn't the answer.

Another diet isn't the answer.

Another Monday morning restart isn't the answer.

Sometimes what you need is a plan.

A plan that's built around your lifestyle, your stress levels, your schedule, your body, and your goals.

And even more importantly, you need to be willing to trust the process.

Not because it's easy.

But because you're finally tired of feeling stuck.

Which brings me to the reason I'm writing this series.

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to introduce you to three women from Body Zone Fitness.

Three completely different women.

Different ages.

Different careers.

Different lifestyles.

Some are moms. Some aren't.

Some had been struggling with their weight for years.

Others simply reached a point where they no longer felt comfortable in their own skin.

And while their stories are different, they all have one thing in common.

They stopped waiting.

They stopped hoping things would magically change.

They stopped looking for the next quick fix.

And they made a decision.

They chose themselves.

Not perfectly.

Not every day.

Not without setbacks.

But consistently enough to create change.

Because here's what I want you to understand before you meet them:

None of these women are special.

They aren't genetically gifted.

They don't have unlimited time.

They aren't more motivated than you.

What they did have was a willingness to get honest about where they were and a commitment to do something about it.

And because of that, they didn't just lose weight.

They gained confidence.

They gained strength.

They gained energy.

They gained trust in themselves again.

Most importantly, they proved to themselves that they weren't stuck.

Because this was never really about the number on the scale.

It was about feeling comfortable in their bodies again.

Feeling capable again.

Feeling confident again.

And if you've been sitting there wondering whether it's too late, whether your body can still change, or whether you'll ever feel like yourself again...

I hope this series shows you exactly what's possible.

Next week, you'll meet the first woman in our series and hear the story of what happened when she stopped starting over and finally committed to herself.
